“Risyu”(August 8) it means “beginning of Autumn” as the Japanese traditional calendar. Rice plants starts to harvest.
It has been hot sunny days for more than 3 weeks with no rain.  However After “Rishu”, temperature at night become cooler, weeds grows slower, rice plants starts to make their seeds(rice)
It has been 3 month since the young rice plants has set in the ground.
It is going to be a harvest in the next month.

立秋過ぎて、朝晩が涼しくなりました。田植えから3か月、稲穂が出始めました。
来月には稲刈りです。みんなで稲刈りしたいなぁ。
